Having seen to much of
streaming water
with a curious blue colour
and a slimy consistence
this makes me remember
what a river really can look and feel like
Brings back memories
from my childhood
Great motion
I like this one a lot.
The rockaway river...yes that?s true

John,

There is nothing to say - this has the feeling of life - the spirit that lies under it all...

the river flows - the best you can do with two seconds thrugh a pinhole (I guess)
btw why dont you add your new toy in the category camera?
the water looks really heavy here, i like it

Just a beautiful, surreal combination of elements here. The water gives such an incredible sense of motion, and the tones just fill me with emotion. What, 2 weeks with that camera and already you have mastered it?

More magic!!!
This is very exciting, John -- love the way you've gotten both the stubborn stasis of the land and the motion of the water -- not just the "things" but their essences as well. Your eye is always so "true" and for me, that's what's making this change so exciting. By nature, the composition will be spot-on, and I think that gives a lot of room for all the other wonderful things that can happen in a photograph. Which I see happening with these.

Nothing gives me more joy in this world than to see people moving forward with true vision :)))
