John, nice shot with good composition, lighting, and color. The shadows also lend some impact to the photo overall - nice work. And yes the photo I posted was of a "real" fossil (trust that you'll find no rusty nails from me). But, you bring up a good point - Perhaps I need to do something to make the fossils appear more real, more "alive", or something? Sorry to babble on here - great shot and nice portfolio!!!
