You have all the grey layers stacked to indicate distance in a classic manner. The toning works for me, too.

Very nice and so unique. You were in the right place at the right time and obvioulsy have a good eye. The different values of the mountains really give this photo a nice sense of depth, and mystery. It was such an intriguing thumbnail that I had to click on it to see it bigger and it "works" at any size.

It's just awesome. The different tones of the mountains and the flipped diagonal line in the foreground are great. I love how the trees lead your eye down into the picture.

Very good, I love the layers and lines and shapes and lighting. I find my eye roving about this picture.

I love this shot and keep coming back to look at it. The colors are so soothing, and I loke the way the trees on the left balance the mountains on the right. Thanks for sharing this.

Nice work Ken. It is a really clear example of aerial perspective and a very powerful composition. I like your choice of film too.
Cheers! Jeff

I love the numbers in this. Four mountains, three shilouetted trees, two windows, one cool picture.

Kim--No filters here. The tone comes from the considerable haze and dust in the atmosphere. The view here is eastward, away from the sunset, which wasn't visible anyway because the valley is very steep and rugged. That's why the valley was rather dark while the sun still shone on the distant mountains, giving the effect that you see.

Very cool... the layers of mountains are awesome... great detail in each layer. I can see the village and it adds a lot to the image to have it in there. Were any filters used? The sky is quite hot in the upper left, but I think the overall effect is great.
