I love this shot! Was this done at the beach or is it a mount?

I like the color/tone of this picture. unfortunately you don't have control over the wether conditions, I shoot weddings for a living and I always hate it when there is much wind, both for my camera (sand!!) and for bride's hair...

Nice bride image. I'm wondering, is this a situation where using flash would help with the flat lighting? Would it allow you to have the background go just a bit darker for more separation with the subject? Just wanting to get some idea of possible variations for over-cast lighting. Have a Senior portrait this Sunday and we might still have this fog hanging around near sunset. Guess I'll experiment...but hope the fog takes a vacation soon! It's never here this time of year. What is going on with that!

Your water line is in a good position. Also the breeze adds a needed element to this subject.

This is wonderful Louise. A great captured moment. Looks very natural and happy. A beautiful bride, great toning, and the slight breeze tops this off very nicely. This is wonderful and goes into my favorites.

I am going to go back through your portfolio and look at all of your wedding shots again, but I definitely think this is a contender. I would pick this one over your last post, though it was very good as well.

Thanks for all of your helpful critiques. I dont mind at all. In fact, I appreciate honest and helpful advice. I still consider myself very much in the learning stage and look for improvement through others advice. I REALLY like the dark vignette you used on Here's looking at you and your right - BIG IMPROVEMENT. Could you please tell me how you do vignetting again. I must have skipped a step when writing down your explanation before because it never turns out as well as yours. My email is ksiebert@gmtp.net

Thanks, Karen

Beautiful toning here and high key effect. Love this candid moment caught-her joy is apparent. I only wish she'd have been looking up a bit more. Nice work!
