it's a beautiful portrait. I love the crisp clear eyes, accentuated by the tiny black lines; great tones and use of DoF and an beauty of a model.
Isn't it great to see again that it is very possible to shoot excellent images without extra gear?

Thanks Bob...she does look movie star-ish doesn't she??? I should post her actual Grad portrait taken with studio lights to compare. She could totally model at her height of, I think she said 5'10"

Isn't she someone famous? Wasn't she in that movie that won all those awards not too long ago? If not, she sure looks like she could be.
It's one of those times when "the face" gets in the right light with the right person behind the camera to make it all work with such magic and grace. Casual shot did you say? Sure got me babbling didn't it?
Louise, you've given her star status with the slight movement of your shutter finger. I think that window will be famous too one day. Look what it does...yet again.
C'mon, are you SURE it's not "her"?! I'm sure I've seen her on a magazine cover somewhere...at the store perhaps. Just can't recall her name!
