Thanks for the comments Becky and Rob...
The Great Sand Hills Park is huge, but the area that actually has the dunes is only 10 acres or so. Still, a considerable amount of sand!
You can walk right onto the sand dunes and compose shots... the wind will erase your footprints soon after you've made them. I was amazed that there was only 4 other cars when we pulled up, being a long weekend and all. Best times to go... right after sunrise or right before sunset.

I too, think this is the best of the three. I like the bolder lines and the uninterrupted horizon.

How large were these dunes? How close did you get to them for the photos?
