About This was taken approximately 10 minutes after Reed Light 1. Totally different examples of 'magic light' within a short period of time. Can't decide which one I like better.

this picture is one of the best I have seen in a long time...it is mysterious, magical, breathtaking, and a subtle invitation to a mytical world where few are ever privy to venture. Mastery on your part Ingrid....

Beautiful. I like the photograph very much. Don't know which one I like better.
Reminds me of a drawing by MC Escher?
Regards, Kees

Each is beautiful in its own way. this one is more soothing and serene, while the other is more dramatic and dynamic and bold. Love them both for different reasons. would love them up on the walls, but in different rooms.

I prefer the more subtle purple tones in this one.... seems to fit the mood of a peaceful evening down by the pond. An excellent capture well seen amongst the business that I'm sure was present that evening.

I remember the previous one, both images are beautiful, but I prefer the subdued colours of this one... It's amazing that you obtained these colours without filtering, and that there was so little time between these two shots. It's also a good reminder for me to watch the light more carefully, and your images encourage me to go back once more to the 'Moerkuilenven' (a fen near my home, I posted a few shots some time ago)

Exceptional light and colouring, Ingrid.
The reflection's just like a mirror!
I didn't see the other shot, but this one's really good!
Regards, Chris.

I agree with Daniel Guerin. The lighting is better in photo 1 but photo 2 has lovely soft colours.
Both shots are top work
Thanks for sharing

I like them both. The strong colour reflection in the first is wonderful but the more subdued colour in this one works just as well. I like the curved reed opposing the straight lines of the others. You have inspired me, I recently took several trips to a lake and thought I'd exausted all the possibilities there but I'm now sure there's an entire project waiting there for me if I close in like you have. They are lovely photographs, Well done.
