About These hands have touched infinity. They have caressed nature far beneath the ocean. They have sacrificed for humanity and far beyond humanity--for creatures of the sea that support us all. These hands are our father's hands--trying to protect us with wisdom when we are foolish, sensitive, youthful and strong. These hands that are no longer with us are honest and truthful--hopeful that we can be one species on one planet, compasionate for every living thing.

I'm generally not one for PS type filters unless they're used judiciously and here IMO they are...blending seamlessly to the capture and adding mood.

I like this such an important detail you catch from the everyday life: hands. I always tought that the hands of people show so much about their soul. Maybe it's a bit silly, but I never got wrong with my first impression transmitted by hands.

Perfect choise of the film for this shot, and much more I like
how the reflection creates a perfect simmetry in the image.

Another wonderful Pic of yours.

Hi William.
Are the grainy status result from using a iso 64 as a
100 or 125 ? Or did you use anything to give this insteresting grainy view.
The text you wrote is also beautiful.
I always pay attention to those men whose hands have been
at world disposal.
Maybe a project at this site in the future. "Hands that helped the world". This would include those famous people we know and those we privately know in our place. I mean
that woman who , free of cost, taught poor people to read, adn write; who looked after sick children...
Beautiful pict.
