Hi and thanks for a warm and generous reply. Photography has of late been an involvement and am getting serious after venturing into this site. Its so inspiring to see such a collection of incredible work.
You have an admirable collection too and this one particularly is overpowering.
I really wouldn't remember which lens did the Pentax had, i had borrowed it from a friend while on a study trip to Punjab. A lot of credit goes to the camera. Vivitar hasn't been giving the same results.You are right about the scanning part.
I am actually looking forward to more constructive feedback on my pictures but wonder how to go about it?

This is very nice. Love the texture, composition and perceptive. It would have been very releived, if you had shown a little bit of his reward (whatever his pulling out to the shore) for his hardworking. Wish the picture was little bigger to see and enjoy.
