Probably waiting for the fish to come to him. I've heard of a "fish out of the water", I guess this is a "fisherman out of the water". Really a good photo and a different perspective from most boat photos. Very Good!!

Wow, what a great photograph -- beautifully executed. I especially like the muted colours of this foggy day/early morning. It quite fits the title. I also very much like the contrast between the rocks (lower part) and the white-washed sky -- a very strong composition.

Yes, this shot really says it all, doesnt' it? I have friends who own a commercial fishing boat out of Morro Bay, Ca. who are experiencing the same painful situation.
