I pefer this to the high-contrast shot, despite the fact that I tend toward higher contrast imagery myself.
So...why the tear?

I think i like this version of the image better than the high contrast version.
If we all liked everything the same, it would be a very, very dull world.

well ... my opinion is ma opinion but i like top show things that i do not prefer cause sometimes they do open my mind to other views. i do prefer the high contrast version. i usually do :)

hey screw 'em if they don't like the contrasts and you do! i liked it better with the high contrasts too. : )) i liked the enhanced intense mood of the other version. even if some boring textbook somewhere says it's "wrong" to blow out areas of a photo ; ))

The high contrast one makes it appear like an older photo. Personally my eye is attracted to this shot. It shows more smoother tones and carries her complexion to another level. It also captures her eyes and features sharper than the previous one. Very nice model and excellent photo. Thanks for sharing.
