I stood in that very spot and photographed the Eifel tower, trouble was I was surrounded by hundreds of people, how did you find it so empty and the one figure is perfect. A really nice image and good tones - Richard.

A very original picture, with an outstanding composition...I think you have the "french touch" in photography...:-)

Well, that is an interesting perspective! I like the large empty space in the foreground and all the lines leading up to the tower.
Intelligent and interesting view from Paris. Delicate tones.

Another special person moment captured. This is a case of size doesn't matter as it's obvious to me that the figure is experiencing your title. :) Just a very cool image Patricia.

The joy is definitely there - what would be interesting to me is if he were further in the frame and this could be cropped square just above the bottom platform of the Eifel tower (sp?) or perhaps the second platform. I don't know - I just think square would be nice.

The tonal range is great and I really like the inclusion and placement of the tree - almost as if he were looking in and seeing how happy the child was...

Hi Patricia.

Very nice composition.

The character is however too small and far away, so one cannot know he is expressing a "joie de vivre" without reading the title. The lower end of the picture is thus a little "empty".

Hope I'm not too harsh on you :-)

Regards

Marc
