Thanks, Barry. I posted it a little crooked because I felt like an idiot for suggesting that Angela should be able to see her horizons in the dark--also should have put this in the 'alone' category--maybe I could have earned top marks.

I think if you just rotate the image in PS to correct for the "phenomenon", then you've got a candidate for a movie poster here...ala "Empire of the Sun". Nice work!

Very interesting technique. I didn't know about that "phenomenon" of the tilted oceans. Looks like there was a little over-correction going on.

I want to be the first to note that the ocean has a slight lean to the left--this a phenomenon (as Angela knows well) that only occurs in the Northern Hemisphere at night. In the Southern Hemisphere, photographer's have to correct their lenses to the right in order to keep their horizons straight.
