Oddly enough your policemen look exactly like my policemen. My policemen have only one purpose, which is to extract illegal fines for imaginary transgressions of non-existent laws - like the one that says you're not allowed to ride motorbike in the daytime with your headlight on. (There seems to be no rule requiring anyone to use lights at night). Or the other rule, my personal favourite, which says there's a certain section of a certain street where foreigners aren't allowed to ride their bikes. If they do, they get stoppde and fined $2, which the cops will reduce to $1 after a little bargaining. The best way to avoid this fine is to ride ma bigger bike than the ones the cops have - then when they wave you down, you just wave back and gun the motor...
