Wow!!!!!!! What a surprise. I can't believe my eyes. Thank you everyone that commented & rated. I don't know who picks the Photo of the day, but I am honored. I am speechless, very unusual for me!
My family will be proud when they all come home. They are my biggest fans!! Also, many of the wonder people I have met here through photography.....I think I'm going to cry. Tears of Joy. lol

Well thank you everyone!! All Your comments warmed my heart & brought a smile to my face. Craig, you can call me a babe...the day guys stop calling me a babe & whistling, that's when I'll know it's over! lol
Carole good to hear you beat it! It's a horrible disease...I hope someday this photo will be in the newspaper with the headline "We found the cure for cancer" !! I let them experiment on me for that purpose. Well, thank you all again . Nice way to end the day for me.

You're a BABE E.S.-- don't doubt it! And I hope you don't take that as a sexist remark. I like your photo composition, ie straight forward, and the treaments you've applied complement the whole. This photo comes across as "painterly"-- that's usually a compliment to a "mere" photograph, and in this case it's true. Your upper face does come across as a bit reddish on my monitor, but that does not diminish the character of a class act. Thanks for posting your own picture. Cheers. Craig

The PS work really enhances this shot. I think it is a flattering shot also. I am not sure if it is my monitor, or the shot, but it seems a bit bright. Perhaps this is your intention, but you might consider toning down the brightness just a bit for another perspective. Good job!
