Liz; I love the soft warm colors and character of this work. Nice. (the frame is a little bizarre for me though?-- just a personal thing I guess). I've got to get into layers!

now I like this one alost the softness of the tones and the lighting are great ....I have to say I took a look at the other you posted ...must be the "untouch" one
I like it a bit better .... could just be me but sometime I like to see simple ..
this is a great photo it really didnt need to much help !

Thanks everyone. Yes Peta, lots of fun in PS. Trying all the filters along with my book,,,quite a learning experience. Yes, I think this camera is a "keeper".lol
Thanks Leslie, I also thought it had a stained glass look. I thought when I used the chrome filter it was going to look like metal, but once I started to make it translucent it took on the look of glass. The double layer was an accident. I hit something and the picture was duplicated! That's why I can't keep track of what I do...like Peta, I go here and there until I get a look I'm pleased with. Right Peta?? lol
Or are you taking notes? Jim seems to have the knack for knowing exactly what he's going to do. I'm not that organized!! Here's the original.

Elizabeth this is beautiful...it has a real stained glass feel from the textures and a very antiquated look from the colors...together they render a beautiful image...using the macro for this was inspired...I can see this framed and hanging...beautiful work
