Captured at Venice Beach, CA. I was getting to know my new lens, the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4. Great lens with great sharpness, contrast, and detail. The more I use it the more I love it! This guy was one of the local artists making a living on the strip doing drawings from photos and live models. He did good work... and I liked this one.
Geroge , i find i am more and more easy to get attracted by those ones including human being's life , including portraid . but i remember how hard i tried not to including human beings in my shooting several years ago . :) everything is changing . interesting .
Good character study. The light seems just a tad low to me, especailly on his face. The reflection in his sun shades is a bit distracting for me. Overall a good work.
