About	Phi Phi Island, Phuket, Thailand. I was generally happy with the image right out of the camera, but decided to learn something new in post-processing on this one. Since I shoot in NEF (Nikon Raw) mode, I used two different versions of this image that had a 1 EV difference in exposure. By overlapping the two images in PS and masking out various areas of each, I was able to improve the shadow detail while maintaining the highlight detail as well. Let me know what you think of the result. GF

I think you did great, I would have never thought it was a composite of two images if you hadn't written it ! The title is very appropriate as well: the photo renders the 'cove' idea very well. I see that it has a 3 overall so far, I think it deserves a 6, instead
