What I really like about this is the curving composition. The 'floating' flower appears to be drifting quietly from the scene. It might be interesting to see the flower in the lower left more focused while the other two gradually fade into the DOF that you have used. Just a thought...and of course it's not my shot. :) Lovely contrasts and a beautiful mood.

Great Macro shot. I too find the top flower a little out of place. But still very effective.

This is a superb macro with awesome color, Trevor. I think the shallow DOF works well in this one, too. I have to take exception with Ms. Wiersma about the soft upper flower. The presence of the upper floral form creates a more flowing and dynamic composition, in my opinion. Nice work, man. Welcome to Usefilm.

Hello Trevor, This is a real beauty! Great macro with beautiful soft background. I like the contrast between dark and light, foreground and background. The only thing that disturbs me a little is the one vague flower in the background above. It is "floating" a bit. If it was composed in the middle, behind the two flowers it would be much more intersting I think, but that's is very personal. Agaian: great capture.
