About This is a hot pool of water in the Old Faithful geyser basin. The water is about 200degrees F or 94C. I loved the colors of the minerals on the sides of the hot pool.

Well even without the potatoes it was a good walk around the pools. I loved the subtle color in this one.

Awesome Stan. I was hoping Margaret was going to cook us some potato's in there but she took off taking pictures. Very clear shot. Cheers. Keith

Thanks G!! So glad your eyes saw my intent with this capture. Pictures and words hardly can describe such place as Yellowstone. One of the true wonders of the world. The thinnest crust of the entire earth is here. Amazing thermal features and incredible animal and bird life. Have a great weekend!!

Hi Nicole, yes the sulfur smell is a little rough!! I love the amazing variety of colors and sights throughout this area. Glad you got to experience this place in person. Pictures are such a challenge to capture the grandness of such a place.

Thanks Nanda, so much beauty around to be seen in this park. I like going slow and looking closely to so much of the beauty.

Thanks Dave, got a little sun as we walked around the Old Faithful area and this pool was so clear and the colors so vivid. The bacteria that grow in the hot water have different colors in different temperatures. This water was so hot that the colors were subtle but beautiful under the flow of the water.
