Hi Rob, I love the mist. I am dying to get a chance to shoot on a morning like that! Have you ever considered using a graduated neutral density filter for the top half of photos like this? It would reduce the brightness of the sky to a level where you could see the sky detail. One of these may have also allowed you to open up a stop to reveal some detail in the nearest foreground as well. A technique that I am learning and loving is to take 2 shots with the camera on a tripod. One exposed for the sky and the other exposed for the foreground. You can then easily merge them in an image editing package to get some stunning photographs! These are just constructive comments and I hope they don't detract from the photo. I really like it but just have some helpful ideas that might enhance the shot if you get another opportunity. Another option would be to get there and shoot in the predawn light. There would be less contrast in the lighting and with a long exposure, you may not need to use filters. Good luck! Greg
