Yes, I had luck with that mist. Too much luck actually.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot again, Vandi!

An iceberg, you say! Well that's exactly the word I was looking for!

BTW, it was not as early in the morning. Perhaps 10:00 or 11:00.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot Valerij, for the nice detailed comment and even more for the suggestions!

Considering mornings, you will laugh now, but that's exactly one of my problems. How to get up early! ;-) This image was shot at about 10:00 or 11:00, so even I managed to be there on time! ;-)

I assume you mean the lens flare on the left? Most of the time I find them good on images, and this time I find it good too. But I got rid of that through cloning just in order to follow your ideas. Then I also cropped a bit of the stones. (Attachment). Well, I don't miss the flare so much here. It was good for me but not necessary. But I do miss the stones. Their absence ripped too much "reference" for me.

Thanks a lot again!

The mist creates a very atmospheric mood here, Nick!

Very impressive view, Nick!
A swan in the morning mist. The top-right side seems a great iceberg. 7!

Best regards,
Vandi

hi Nick.

You know, tho most difficul thing for me with such morning misty images is... to wake up early and kick myself into getting up.

Looking at this picture one can feel the fragrance in the air! Excellent. The blick to the left is somewhat distracting, but it's a matter of patience to get rid of it.
...and maybe a small crop at the bottom just to remove the stones. They draw too much attention (imho)
