I see exactly what you mean, Vandi! Too many times we have the good luck to see something special,and at the same time to not have the good camera with us. Well.. then we do what we can do, I guess.
My compact camera didn't make a good job here - as always!(small aperture value, poor coating lenses, no wide-angle lenses, etc.) That green clay rock was impressed but too high and very close by the road.
The coloring is quite original here, Vandi, as it foes greenish all the way. Especially that rock in the depth "shines" in a very strange but also irresistable way to me. Good details over the whole depth too!
The composition is a bit weaker for me. The sense for distance is somewhat lost - it feels too uniform to me.
