About A stich of two images. I had to use the cloning tool heavily at the top right and bottom left. I hope it doesn't look too "constructed" at those places. Any comments would be very welcome.

Thanks a lot for the in deopth going comment agaion, Visar! And you are completely right, the foreground is needed here. The thing is that I stiched this one from two separate images for a wider view of the whole scene. The bottom parts didn't fit at all. So I had to choose, either wider view but not much foreground or a narrower view but with foreground. I think that the problems for stiching are still visible on the bottom left corner which is completely cloned.

A nice place for vacations indeed but then in summer rather than in winter. (It was winter as already said.) In winter almost nothing moves in such places. It is cold and dull. But in summer it gets much more alive. And if they also stop joddle-joddle (aaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhh) it can be even nicer! ;-) Best thing to do is just get your photo bag and get lost out there somewhere.

Cheers!

Thank you very much again, Dave!

Indeed, the vertical orientation supports the height better. The horizontal is more for a general view of the scene. Both of them with a wide angle lens, anyway.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Guido!

Happy to know that the cloning at the top right doesn't disturb that much!

Cheers!

Thanks again, Ben!

I am glad if the top right corned doesn't attract to much attention for its cloning.

Cheers!

i have a little doubt about the lack of foreground Nick. perhaps an 18mm would work better(!?)- with it you would not lose this very good vantage point, get a bit more of foreground and also the mountain in the right would not get more attention than the rest of elements.

the place is great for a vacation up there and cleans the ears from the noise of the city- and the weather seems right for some whiskey and jazz,

cheers,
v.

Another nicely composed scene, Nick! I prefer the vertical for the mountain reflection, but this is a great wide angle scenic shot with the road running through the image, connecting the buildings.
