About I hope that this one gives a good impression of the quite stunning forest look on that winter morning somewhere around Brunnig Pass. Any comments/critiques/suggestions would be very welcome.

Hi Greg, and thanks a lot for the nice comment! Iam very glad to read that you too consider this one as a good image for B&W. Madan said that too and I attached a B&W version on my reply to him.

I often use B&W film. Its character is simply unreachable for me. Soon I'll be posting some B&W images again.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and both ideas, Andre!

A small series with images from that place taken all over the year would be indeed great! I'll have to check if I can do that!

To print that lifesize... well that will be not so easy to do, I guess. I don't know if my resolution would be enough for that. In case it is enough it would be of course superb!

Cheers!

Hi Nick. I think this would look great in B/W. It would bring out the markings on the trees and the shadows on the ground would be more enhanced. I dont know what your thoughts are on B/W but I tend to think at times they work better.

Hi Nick,
This image is one of those perfect ones to go back for a set of the four seasons.
I can't remember where I saw this, but I saw somewhere a lifesize mural of B&W trees similar to this image. They had the mural on both sides of a long hall, giving the impression that you were in the woods instead of a concrete bunker. Not a bad Idea.

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Gustavo!

What about Madan's idea for a greyscale and a bit darker version?

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and the suggestions, Madan!

So, let's go for it! I converted it to greyscale and I adjusted the hue range for making it a bit darker. It really won dramatic, I guess. So I think of loading a B&W film and going up there once more!

Thanks a lot!

Converted it to greyscale and adjusted the hue range for a darker look after Madan's idea

Excelente la composición aquí, me gusta la curva elegante que siguen todos los troncos, la exposición y la luz son muy buenas logrando un agradable colorido.
Bravo!

May be a monochrome version will look better. You may also darken the entire thing a bit. tereffic shot.
