About It was a very interesting view to see how well the modern straicase of steel integrated with the old church of stone and the rest of the houses. I had the impression that all constructions belonged together. So it had to be a try for all possible detail I could get. Any suggestions and comments would be very welcome.

No, I still didn't receive email for that. Thanks a lot for taking the time to drop me a line about that, Visar!

I am also for the last crop. It's the way I should have composed it. So, as a back engineering hint, I should zoom a bit closer and take only those parts that appear on that crop.

I am so glad about such discussions and discoveries, Visar! For me it is the most important part of it all.

Have a nice Sunday!

Nick

(perhaps you did not receive this comment either)?

this is great Nick, absolutely great.
the original and the first crop have some sky on the upper part, which is bright and not that it just creates contrast, but it harms the shot as it draws attention; attention of something not of much value.
in your last crop, you do not have any problem. you actually produce an image so great and very complex in the variety of forms, details, tones and the way all of these interact, that not only makes it attractive but rather e great shot for study for a spot on composition.

all the best,
v.

Second attachment with the additional crop of the top. It looks better, to me.

Cheers!

Cropped off also top after having cropped left side according to Visar's idea

Such images are still my hardest exercise, Visar, and I can be only glad that you notice the technical part of is!

Cropping off the dark left side you say... let's see! The experiment is the only thing that jusdtifies the theory! ;-) And this one justifies yours! The image really won integrity and didn't really lose depth. So, thanks a lot for the suggestion!

And while we are at it, I think that an additional crop of the sky makes even more sense. (attachment of next message)

What do you think?

Cropped off left side after Visar's idea

Yes, that highlighted part on the top seems to me disposable now, Gustavo. The main thing is the details in the low lights here, I guess.

Thanks once again!

i am glad, as much as surprised, to see the pic on the highlightened part not burnt entirely- of which i am sure, it is quite hard to technically achieve, especially by exposing the details on the shadow parts of the canvas, so beautiful and abundant.

i like the blue/ gey tones very much.

(i have a similart work of cityscape, but it was a complete failiure and i did not feel good about that, as it was a beautiful light. that's why i think in such occassions it would be great having a tripot and shot three shots with different exposure and then mix them together to have the desired result.)

did you consider cropping the left dark side of the photo- i think it is not very needed; ha Nick?!

cheers,
v.

Muy interesante el lugar, con muchos detalles e interés, muy buena la exposición pese al toque de luz fuerte arriba.

Bravo!
