I would be only glad to receive as much as possible of that help from honest and constructive criticism, Gustavo! Unfortunately most of the time it goes "hurray, great image". Very constructive, really! ;-)
Glad to exchange my mind with people like you!

Thank you very very much for your time and your work, Alida! So I know now that I should correct exposure for avoiding the string burn at the right side.
All the best and thanks again!

It is indeed overexposed at the right side, Gustavo! And I am glad that you say that, since this way I have a more objective view. I had to correct exposure or to use a beter light metering, I guess.
Many many thanks!

Yes, that was the place and I thnak you for reminding me of that, Davide! Thanks also for all the info about it. So the roof was for the women to not be under the rain or the strong sunlight in those years in the past! Very interesting!
I hope to be able to catch the atmosphere of the oasis on the image some day, in such a way that it is also tangible for those that hadn't the luck to be there, Davide. So it will be the image that counts and not the knowledge of the depicted place. Let's see...
Cheers,
Nick

This street has a charm of it's own, that is more and more difficult to find nowadays! I like the richly life, coloured ! everything is full of life, there are many different plants there and makes so nice colors, I always admire your work, and the fact that it carries deep thoughts of the real life! Warm regards and hugs. parehan

Nice capture, I know that place...is called Vicolo dei Lavandai, in Milan. Am I right ? ;-) They were used (women I mean) to wash clothes in the past. Now of course is useless and it's only a part of the historical memories of inhabitants ;-) Davide. ps: if you go there during the summer you won't be able to see any woman washing clothes but you'll be able to hear the sing of the frogs. Being in the middle of the city sounds strange and nice like and oasis, isnt' it ?
