Now this is a nice one. Got the eye and lighting pretty good. Great colors but Canon I think to that well. Excellent image.

yes i know dear brigitte...i dont know what r doing other photographers in site? sometimes i found photo of the day by ony 4 comments! this problem contain the usefilm website too...they choose sometimes pod's that cannot be pod... i am now perfessional but i have some pics can choose some where...
about this beutiful flamingo i can say the light and shadow made it high...u have to spend so many time to capturee one of them by lighting on face...but dont care i like it!

Thank you Reza for your very kind comment. I'm glad someone finally commented on this. Seems this is everyone's least favorite out of all the flamingo shots. I actually liked this one maybe because of the dramatic play with light and shaddow. Perhaps it's not technically perfect because the light should be on the face of the subject, but there's something about it I really like - maybe because it is purely natural and not staged.
