Location City -  Etosha Park
State -  WATERHOLE
Country - Namibia   Namibia
About Driving through Namibia I was so lucky to get at a waterhole where these giants were running up to get some water! Most of the waterholes were getting empty as it hadn't rain for a long time, Etosha Park is mostly very dry and grey because of the dust, as you can see giraffes run away and started eating the thornbushes, quite an amazing play to watch:)

Morning dear Erdem:) What about Botswana? Have you heard about Chobe Park there and Etosha Park in Namibia, they are great for any kind of game! And too far from each other...do you have plans to go for holidays this year? Jenxx

I think we have the same love for wild animals dear Erdem, I know mine are not perfect, my camera is just not good enough from this distance!
Your title could be so very right, those males at the end of the day in the bloody hot sun, it was a pleasure looking at them! Have more of these, they were playing and dominating the waterwhole, as all the other animals had to move fast out:)

So, maybe your next trip could go to Namibia or Botswana as well, in Chobe Park there are too many elephants they say...feel sad about that! Thanks for suggesting! hugs Jenxx

A very beautiful scenery Dear Jen... It has so many details I can look at it for minutes. :-)

The title could be also "the giraffe over the shoulders of thirsty elephants". :-) It is surprising that the DOF is so little for such a wide aperture.

The gesture of the big one has caught my eyes: apparently, he is trying to cover his body with mud to protect himself against mousquitos & insects.

The only suggestion I have would be to reduce the saturation a bit to get rid of the pixellation in the sky above.

Congrats & big hugs. :-)

Txs dear! Namibia has a lot to show, these waterholes are like movies...if you're lucky you see a lot! That's why I love Africa, the colours, smell, easy life...mostly:) But I've been in Australia one time and you have a lot of wildlife too, will you make a pic for me of a kangerou pls? Where about do you live? Hug Jenxx

What an awesome sight. I live in S.A. and have been to the Kruger National Park a couple of times but have never been fortunate enough to experience viewing the wild animals as you have! You are so lucky. Well done!
Regards, Sherry.

Thank you dear Dave, it was a 'moving' scenery,
was obvious drinking time, animals from all
over the place! The giraffes run off, also the
zebra's, so guess these guys were in charge:)xxJen

Excellent capture of the elephants, Jen, especially with the water and mud flying up. An interesting background, too.

Thank's a lot dear Debra, yes I have more of these, I should become a sponsor to show them in one row:)I can only guess about the tusks,
they mostly try to distroy trees to get the leaves and fighting of course against each other,
specially these males! There were quite a lot
of baby ones coming from the other side, with ther moms I will show later! Have a great day, xxJen

What a wonderful moment with the mud flying around! I hope you have more from here? All of the elephants appear to have broken tusks, is this usual? Debra
