Thanks for your comments. Those giant plane trees and their big leaves make great shadows on late mornings. When I looked up it was almost like seeing the changing surface of the river. I wanted to capture that and the interesting colors of the faded sign and plaster walls.

Normally I would say I was sick to death of pictures of windows in walls that seem to be everywhere in photography circles. This one, however, caught my eye. The shadows in this make it more visually interesting, add depth, help to make this much less of a photographic cliche.

Hi Carl...*smile* I love the look the shadows have created on this image. Makes it look much like a painting. When I saw it on the thumbs I thought it was a polaroid manipulated image and was pleasantly surprised to see it was a straight shot that works very well.

Alisa loves shadow play like this image has, I hope she doesnt miss seeing it. Very nice...*smile*...Maggie
