This image look like a painting which I think really makes it pop. The reflecttion in the water is great but I am wondering how this would look in B&W. The lighting at the top of the image is a bit harsh and maybe a ND filter over it would help a bit. Good Job!

Mon Ami! How did you know about Petit Canada? I grew up just a couple of miles from that old settlement. Maybe you saw King's web site. Yeah we're all pretty much French-Canadians in this area.

Something I hadn't noticed before, the trees in front are leaning toward the right while the trees farther inland are either straight up or leaning toward the left. Nice eye Christian, The more I look at this simple photograph the more I can appreciate it. Good Work.

Very interesting picture. Sure like the reflections in the water. Thanks for your comments on Iris. I don't know about the pixel spots from your camera. I had a Casio 3000 that was 4 mp. and it had a couple of spots but it didn't seem to bother the pictures. Are they showing up in the pictures when you put them on the screen. You can clone them out very easily. You might contact Nikon and ask them if they are a problem. Have been gone a couple of days, so sorry about not getting back to you sooner. If you want email me at dloseke7@yahoo.com . Be glad to talk to you. Don.
