Thanks Matej.
This was a really quick one, not much time for framing. I did crop some of the left, and bottom. Their legs were originaly cut just below their knees at a height that makes one want to see them rest on the ground. On the right, there was a pedestrian post a little over 1 m high with a white metal sphere. I decided to crop it out because I felt it would steel attention. The reason I kept the street sign was because it helps in setting the scene and brings in a second point of interest, a sort of counterpoint. I also kept the extreme right to avoid what I thought would be a too massive column or wall, but I see your point and find your suggestion quite acceptable. I would still though prefer to keep the street sign.

After you uploaded the three Mexico shots, I hoped more would follow. The situation is repeating itself with this image.

I like it. I like the couple's position in the image, the way they emerge from the shadow beyond, and the grey wall that contrasts with the more extreme tones on the left.

What I do not like so much is the violation of the smoothness / cleanliness / simplicity along the right and top edges of the frame. The street sign: I'm pretty used to things intruding into and/or touching the edges of photos, and normally I wouldn't mind. But here, what with it being partially cropped off, and maybe also for other reasons, it tends to draw my attention away from the core of the image. The trace of building on the extreme right: an unexpected interruption of the greys, and competition to the left area. What this all leads to is this: since I presume you have already cropped this image, I propose a further crop. Whether or not it makes any sort of sense, I leave up to you.

And please, post more street shots like this if you can.

excellent texture in BW for the wall and human presence in this intimate pose and relationship adds a lot to the whole mood of this photo, it deserves a BIP in the Street Photography project
