very good,the open door make the curiosity to look what behind,the light is also good.about the compo i agree with john,i think that beside the cut off door you left a piece of wall on the righ that doesnt contribute anything,my suggestion is to try (if u can)a vertical frame.
anyway, it still interesting

It's a nice shot Gerhard, even I'm not sure about the way you frame the gate, I think it could be better not to cut like that the bottom of the door...
nice lighting conditions.
