What an adorable cat:-)
I love this photo because of the darkness in it combined with the sweet childplay, emotional contrasts. The perspective and selective colouring is spot on!

Hi Chase Im glad that you liked this one!
the way that i do with the eyes in this case I turned the photo into b&w first, I dogged (using the dodge tool)the eyes, carefully around the iris , a bit to be able to see the color that you can put after.select the eye using the lasso tool( must be done carefully) & then worked on the selection going to image adjustment-photo filter & then depending what color filter you want to use you apply that, both eyes, one at a time.after working on the selection you deselect it.
& what i usually do to bring the eye out more is use the dogging tool again to whiten the white part of the eye. hope that this is helpful.
Im not good at photoshop trust me, but I play around quite a bit & i come up with something! all I have learned about image manipulation on photoshop is just by playing & trying things out!Im sure there is other ways to do all that, photoshop is limitless.

This is an awsome capture! If you could share how did you do that with the eyes? I would like to get to know photoshop better so I could make some of my pictures more abstract. Any hints would be great.

WOW, Wodnerful shot!! I love the pose, the way she looks at the camera her hair, her position and the make up, but above all the saturated eyes in yellow that give her so much power and unpredictibility; very catchitng, and strong image!
