Heya Deave! If you are referring to the shot as being "cheap", since film is so expensive, and you have used digital... then fair enough... Otherwise, it you are using the term in the context I believe you are using it in, you're "wrong". (OOOOOH! I said "wrong", when right and wrong are matters of opinion...) My opnion is that this is a good shot, Dave. Yes, I am awed by plenty of others you have made, and this is not my favourite, but it warrants attention. You did a great job. I love "your" stars ... (are they the same ones we have? I know there is some confusion as to whether we share the same moon... :) :) :)
Hugs! Ani :) x

very impressive that image Dave, one for sure, because of the long exposure you makes the ground looks like....a shot at sunset time...with that warm colors...amazing, and the sky with the moved stars, amazing photo and all with excellent quality!

Thanks, Brigitte... yup, trailing lights would be cool but I'm not taking that risk... If I had a second person, it would be a great shot to actually stage and have them drive off from the point of the camera. Once of these days, the photographer ferry will bring me an assistant.
Best, Dave

thanks, Michele... it's just that so many people do the camera on the ground in the middle of the road shot...

Wow, looks so cool.... great low perspective and wonderful movement in the stars....sure was a stary night! Would look kind of neat if a car had passed by with it's trailing lights..... if you ever get brave enough to leave it out there on bulb until a car passes I think it would be safe in the middle of the road, unless of course you have a drunk indian pass through! You are so creative...always something new and interesting coming from you... I really look forward to seeing your "latest"! Thanks!
