Hi Glinda ...Yes this was just the 'Sun'Light which also helped me to spot the bottle ...no flash involved.

I saw that movie dear Pablo and I loved it - Yes and I was hoping for a message ....BUT....just a slight swig of beer- nothing else left ! It gets very hot in Salem though as it is east of the coast in a valley - where Shirley Cross lives ... into the 100's degree's sometimes is normal for that area .

A nice find!! A very good shot with good light! I like how you have achieved a good balance with the light and shadows here. About the composition, like Doyle has suggested I also think it would be better if the bottle was at an angle.

A very interesting find indeed, Michele. I agree with Doyle about angling the photo since a diagonal is more dynamic, and maybe burn in the highlights slightly.:)

I'm with Captain M . . . it does s-l-o-w-l-y dissapate. Must have been there quite a while. It does call for CSI too, because wasting beer is a crime! LoL!
Excellent shot. Ever the picky dude . . . I would have gone for a composition where the bottle was angled . . . but very unique find and very well presented!

This calls for CSI!!
True dat. Beer in an unopened bottle does evaporate. I once had a case where the friends of the dead guy erected a memorial at the scene. The memorial consisted mostly of unopened beers. Many of them. And all were only half full after about a year. Some teenagers coulda got quite lucky had they found the memorial early on.
That bottle does have a very nice coloring to it... though!

:) Very exciting! I love this with a capital LOVE!
Brillant job Michele and I would not change much. Im sure it can be made different and in some eyes that would be better. For me I like it this way and if I did anything maybe I would try to burn around or somehow darkin the areas around the bottle but only a tad!
I really wish you would start to do more of this type of shooting......Branching out cause I do love it soooo!
I really did get excited by this Michele and still am very excited! I want this to grace the front page or at the very least win BIP.....(SOMETHING) You have worked soooo hard and this shows it sooooo much!
Man it is great! Sorta speachless! so Ill just leave you with another ........
