Brigitte, I believe I did use fill flash, and I also brightened it a little bit in Photoshop. She is a beautiful dog and our "little girl". Thanks for your comments.
I agree with Stephen's commment. The lighting is very nice and you still managed to light the subject well - did you use fill flash here? The poses are very natural also. Your white Shepherd is gorgeous and looks like a well loved family member. Thank you for sharing! Best wishes, Brigitte
I give this one a SEVEN!! The colors in the sky are very nice as they change going across the image. Also, normal DOF for a portrait would blur the background. However, since this one is sharp all the way through, it allows you to see the buildings in the background very nicely. I like this one a lot.
