Watch out for z mermaidpolice*LOL* Good thing that you take the time to warn people. Not good that they are so reckless.
Although I love water, I also fear and respect it. I suppose that it comes naturally by growing up in a country surrounded by water, boats and drowningaccidents.
Last summer they had to close the beach where I usually bath because there were strong undercurrents pulling people far out in the sea. You can´t fight such a current but must try to relax and then leave it when it fades out.
There can be great horseholes as we call them that you can fall into and so forth. Respect is essential.
No I was not a scout:-( I plan on Anna Sophie being a girlscout though.

Great seascape view with nice composition and wonderful blue tone..i love to look to the blue sky with the blue sea and i know that looking to the sea horizon can fortify vision.

Were YOu a 'Girl Scout' too my dear Annemette :)) I Was !
I am soooo happy You feel this way and are so respectful of the ocean because I thought after I wrote that- ' she can do what she wants '..I can't stop her... but you are soooo right... sneaker waves, all that driftwood, drowning deaths happen waay too much in the summer time here because people let their poor kids just play on the rocks... and then one second later ...they are never seen again....
I go down there and act like the Mermaid Police - ha!!! I do I can't help it I've seen too many drownings and dangerous situations since I have lived here.

Yes indeed we must do that and post some silly photos of two landgoing mermaids to UF*LOL*
I did imagine the ocean was dangerous due to tides, rocks and all the huge driftwood. I have never seen anything like it! I wouldn´t want to be caught in that. I respect the ocean a lot.

Thank You for your comment Dave...YOU my friend are right.... Miles, and miles of some of the most beautiful beach in the world... Have you ever heard of Beverly Beach.... It's welll known for it's beauty but is in Newport , 25 miles south.

Ohhh, can I borrow some of your sunshine :) we have another wet weekend here :( This picture, however has brightened it immensely. The colours and setting, along with the fantastic composition make this a wonderful capture. I like the way that you have the reeds(?) in the foreground...beautiful work Michele.

Absolutely excellent...I love when the water happen to be on the sand like that and so it makes 'lines' of water - sand - water and again sand... nice the plants in blur at the bottom of the image, personaly I like there present into your frame.
