Tight framing is good. Excellent B&W conversion. Loads of atmosphere. The version done with the writing is also very good.

I absolutely love it! Great idea, thank you. It makes the whole image emotional because we can see my words and her face at the same time. So even a stranger can feel what I feel when I see her. :) Thank you for taking the time to do that!

I can imagine that changing the frame and less cropping would change the impact. For some reason i can't explain they add a 3D feel to the image. I like the expression and the overall mood of the image. The problem with the small width has probably a lot to do with the white space around it. If i were able, i would move to the left on my screen. so my suggestion is to make the border larger. See the attached image - i also added your about to the image itself. See i you like it...

Thanks JD! My sister was trying to get me to change the frame and the crop..but when I changed it, it lost something, I liked it this way...glad you like it!!

April, I like this and think you did a very good job overall with a lovely model. When I viewed the thumbnail I felt the format was a little narrow but viewing the image a full scale is very pleasing. As far as the image goes the only thing I would try to do is remove the couple of stray hairs across her forehead. You are right about the frame adding drama, but it works well to my eye with the b/w. Dwight
