Well, many femaledogs get a herpesvirus that menas that when having their first litter the infection goes to the puppies which causes abortion, dead or braindamaged puppies etc. Then the virus is gone though.
Maybe this is what happened to Bella.

Oh a cruise you mean? It sounds really good! Be prepared for the Acropolisarea to be rather big. Itīs a large area with many fascinating remains! The ticket can last for four days and when/if visiting the Acropolis at the very top, you have to store your bag a special place for that up there - no charge.
Bring a bottle of water - there are places where you can fill it with water, and the water is safe to drink. If buying anything up there itīs so expensive that itīs a joke almost, so bring your own water or whatever you like.
When dining I found it to be more cozy being in the studentarea where noone was shouting or telling clichés to get one to eat at exactly their restaurant;-)
The metro goes around the city and to the airport as well. From downtown to the airport it costs 5 euro. It is easy to use, very clean and wellfunctioning.
Maybe you alreadu know all of this, but if not it might help you:-) Have a good trip when you get there!

I will be in Athens 24th of Aug for a couple of days before departing for the Adriatic Coast Dubrovnik then onto Italy then back to the Greek Islands for a week and a half whoo hoo cant wait

At least we know it is somewhat 'normal' but wish we'd have known there was this chance before hand to maybe keep her more still instead of walking her daily .
Yes, next time she will be fine like her mother was .... I am sure :))

Texture heaven- haha good way of desribing it! Yes, as I told you earlier I thought of you many times while walking through the city knowing youīd love photographing every corner.
I didnīt have enough time to photograph all what I wanted to and sometimes I needed to hurry up. Still itīs a terrific city for such abstract crackled photos with an undefinate beauty behind it.
(hope my English terms are understandable when translating from Danish*LOL*)

Have a great weekend and btw about Bella sometimes the femaledogs do go empty or loose their puppies the first time. I was raised on a kennel so I have followed everything from close-up with our dogs. Such a shame when it happens, but wonderful Bella might pull through allright the next time. Letīs hope so.
