About First prize to anyone who can identify this rusty old thingo that is obviously part of some sort of farm equipment and an ornament outside a friend's mudbrick potter's studio... LOL!

I reworked this orginally B&W print that I recently "uncovered" from my stash of prints... It is a hurriedly hand printed (by me) proof, so it is not a new image; however, it now looks nothing like the badly exposed small proof I made of it!

Please don't ask me what I did with it in PS... I don't keep track of most of what I do... I just do it...
Hopefully it posts looking relatively OK...OK??? :)
Any comments are always apreciated, other than nasty ones... :)

I see no nasty comments here Dave! :)

I like larvae coming out of a skull... good guess! :) However, I believe you are correct that it is a plow or tiller... (though we spell it "plough").

Now what's your prize for guessing correctly???
Hmmm???????

Thanks Dave, and you know I am a girl after your own heart... lol...

Hugs~
Ani :) x

rotting pig guts. larvae coming out of a skull. spoiled hamburger... oh, wait, you said no nasty comments. never mind.

Now there's a girl after my own heart, shootin' those rusting relics... I'd be willing to bet it is a plow or a tiller...

That's OK Dear Michele...
I have no idea what the prize would be for guessing what it is is! LOL!

We are drawn to these types of "thingos" because they are relics and their age has made them perhaps even more precious, whatever they be! (Well... partly that's why, I think... They are certainly charming to me!)
I also like peeling paint and broken windows etc... Woodgrain for its natural textures and so on... you know what I mean since you too are a photographic hunter and collector of these types of thingos :)

Thank you for your kind comments my friend.

I am doing the rounds as I get the chance, to visit my good friends.
I shall see you as soon as possible. Too close to dawn now. Just finished night shift at work.

Hugs to You~
Aniko :)

Love this Rusty Old Thingo aniko but so sorry I haven't a clue what it is .....
It is a beautiful image tho - 'Why, oh why are so many of us sooo drawn to the old heavy rusty stuff from history' and we don't know what it was used for - Lol!!!!!!
It's so true tho --- I know I am and when I post any old rusty heavy metal images they get a lot of comments and good ratings :))
Beautiful work Aniko - PERFECT !!!!!!!!

mMchele~
