Amazing landscape to be traveling through. I know from experience that it is hard in this type of lighting to get a exposure where the foreground is visible and the clouds and snow are not blown out. What you could do to improve this problem is to get a 2 stop ND filter for your camera. then your images would be much easier to balance light to dark.

Great mountain landscape shot Nicole. Excellent composition and perspective. Beautiful colours. The lighting is very good, you must have waited to the right time of day to get this shot with the sun on the top of Mt Cook and valley to the right. Excellent work my friend,
