Hi Tony.. "Where are the worms” was only for the title!! We laughed a lot with these funny guys!! We had no problems with them with our car, but they pulled the rubber away from our neighbours car. Thank you so much for your very kind and interesting comment.

Excellent photo Of the 2 Keas Nicole. You are making me homesick. The Keas are eating the small seeds and grass roots that are on the ground in your photo. It is interesting to see that the bird on the right has an Identification ring on its leg. They are hilarious to watch in the winter, skiing down the rooves of buildings. Yes they are destructive but not usually killers. It is usually the Kaka (Very similiar)which is associated with dead lambs.

Hi Greg...this"Where are the worms"was only for the title.I know that they didn't eat worms,but I did not know that they land on the back from the sheeps and.....sooooo sad!!!!We had no problems with them with our car,but they pulled also the rubber away from our neighbours car!!Even so they were funny too..thank you for your very kind and interesting comment about these parrots to me.Very kind from you:)))

Great shot of these mountain clowns. It's a pity they don'y eat worms as they are a pest to high country farmers. They land on the backs of sheep and eat into them alive - causing death to the sheep. They also wreck havock to cars - over christmas one pulled the rubber away from the wind screen of our car. After all this though I still find them entertaining to watch there cheeky nature.

These are beautiful birds Nicole !! What a great composition, wonderful light, focus is supurb, their feathers are soft and 2 toned with nice color, and the beaks & around the eyes such wonderful color too.... even the feet being grey-- You've done a great job here-- so I guess they eat worms ? and they can't find any ...Hahaaa!!! Love this image and feel it is a well deserved 7/7 I wanted to comment right away before I went to work, and am just now able to--- Excellent job Nicole!!!!
