It is good to have a big lens Michele!!Maybe these reflection was cause it rained as I took this shot!He was still a little one...and he had already thick claws.I was glad that David was pleased about it!!!LOL...a lot of beautiful places where I want to go...in any case OREGON...:)))))!!

How sweet this dedication for Srna's David Nicki !!!
What a cool shot too- nice macro - never have seen bear claws so close up ... very long and thick and sharp !!!! It looks a little like reflections in the claws- or maybe they are just reflecting the bears fur- or ( not ?) Maybe this is just the color they are :)
Regardless excellent shot dear Nicki - is there anywhere You have not been Yet ? Besides Oregon ????????

Hi Annemette...yes you are right it's better to stay not to close!! Bears are on of my favorite animals.Until now I saw a lot of them and I'm always impressed!!I know that you have a newfoundlanddog ( a beauty one )how about him to catch salmons?;)

Very nice claws showing exactly why it isnīt good to get too close to bears:-0 Wonderful animals though. I love how they catch salmon and I know that some newfoundlanddogs do this as well although not having so big claws:-)
