Thanks Alicia, they have just arrived in this area after spending the winter in the southern United States, maybe Florida. They will be fixing up the nest and in a few weeks hopefully they will have young ones to look after. Every so often I will take more shots to let you know how things are going with their family.

Thanks very much Robbie, actually a moment before this shot was taken she had briefly landed on the back of her mate. Here is a shot of that. Obviously my pressence was upsetting her. They both left the nest and I took off. This nesting box is right beside a fairly well travelled paved road. I was standing in the middle of the road when I took most of the images.

So they finally arrived!!!
Lovely capture Joe,beautiful wing position as though giving protection from the sun.Awesome exposure in that underneath of the platform is just right.
