I also think this looks like some form of architecture or sculpture. I would imagine setting this up would be difficult and take some time. The different combinations and positions and lighting you could use would make this very challenging , and this one is simple and beautiful to look at. The lighting makes a tonal change that is gradual and we see black to every shade of grey. I think this is great.

I like your choice of color here, b/w would have been too cold, the sepia gives the image warmth. Who would have thought that 2 sheets of paper would be so interesting. For some reason this is a very calm image and also reminds me of great architecture. Intriguing in its simplicity.
