Old skin with scars and character

Bits and bytes on an interpretational forming of a world

Parallel worlds

One

A lake of lights

The tree and the distribution of leaves

On the border between elegance and luxury mania

Decoration in nature

The corner of contemplation

Heading to the lake

No problem, Cleveland! That's the nice thing with language - we use it for making our minds understandable to each other at the end. So now I got you right.

Thank you for the clarification! And have a nice day!

Nick, my reference to "toss up" means I could favor the frame either way, yes or no. Sorry for any misunderstanding this may have caused you.

Hi Cleveland. Well, yes, to clone those dry leaves away did indeed good. As about the frame, I have to try some different colors. I guess they shouldn't be as bright as the yellow leaves.

But what do you mean with "toss up"? I make the fremes by creating a new layer with a flat rectangle in PS and then moving it under the layer of the picture.

Best wishes,

Nick

Nick, looks better with the leaves cloned out. The frame maybe another color rather than the yellow, it does look better with a double frame though. The frame is a toss up?

Thank you very much for the detailed comment and the ideas, Cleveland!

Indeed, contrails. And as Switzerland is more or less in the middle of europe, almost all air traffic passes over this country, so I have them too often.

The dry leaves were for me what I like less on this one. I tried to clone them off, but don't know of I did it right. A crop would be too much in this case since they are not only near the edges of the photo. But it is true that they don't fit the general look very well.

I also removed the yellow frame. Well, regarding the frame, I can't say which one is better. But I attach the manipulated image, so you can see for yourself.

Many many thanks again,

Nick

Leaves cloned off, yellow frame taken away

Cleveland Smith Cleveland Smith   {K:7006} 3/18/2007
Nick, contrails? they seem to appear everywhere. Those dried leaves at the center top of the image possibly a slight crop might help. I am not one for frames, I feel that the yellow of this frame detracts from the colors of the leaves. Again, my ideas and opinions.
