About The sunny weather on the mountains may look really precious but the storms do also have they special atmosphere. This is Mt. Titlis near Engelberg - only one shoulder of it, not the whole mountain.

Walking along the base of those cliffs I wondered what that mountain might care about small human dreams and wishes. The answer sounds hard but it is sincere: It doesn't care at all. Indifference and independence. And then I asked myself why not making a photo of it instead of projecting human attitudes onto it.

Indeed, the wish to understand supported the generation of "law systems", which under the conditions of missing real understanding, dictated the introduction of "God". In other words, when you don't know what brings the rain, you can always say "God".

Thanks God (;-)) as the times were passing by, more and more things were explained without the need of God's intervention. So, now, living in 2007, there's really not much for any kind of "God" to be needed for. Though this does not prove "God" to be nonexistent, it makes God quite... unemployed. Occam's razor has to cut any uneeded elements in any "view" of the world.

Perhaps the most funny thing is that the word theory means "To see God" - so the theories of physics and mathematics help us to really see God: Vacuum, Vacant - anybody to give that guy a job? In mathematics we are concerned about what that guy could be good for... ;-)

Nick

P.S.: Perhaps we give him a nice job as bar man in some intergalactic pub :-)

I like how sharp a line there is on the ridge with the trees and the more blurry background.
It´s only normal projecting human attitudes to our surroundings, but good that you decided to take a photo:-)
In order to survive as human we developed the ability to always "read" our surroundings in order to understand their intend. Researchers claim that this may be why most of the humans are religious - they read an intend out of something that has none. Quite fascinating really, but only a theory among many.
Take care
Annemette
