Hi Aaron,
I have had this question about this image a few times. When i say it took me many years to capture this image,I mean 20, this is as taken,
captured raw, Nikon capture NX just to bring out more detail. This was the sight that February morning, no tricks and no heavy processing and i don't like hdr images. Sometimes it all comes together.

I can see why it's one of your favourites, Douglas! It does have a coldness about it (with the snow and all), but certainly the "warmth" in the clouds made it all worthwhile to get up on a cold February morning. Beautiful shot. Cheers, Gary
