The Oregon coastline is not as peaceful as it may appear. Remember the logs on the beach ... they came from this ocean and many people at first think like you but then they drown because of the logs, and wild sea... there is nothing out there until Japan !!!!!

It was warm yesterday ! No wind, no fog, just balmy and warm... I thought I was in another country or something, no clouds in the sky just everything WARM and BlUE !!!
Today is rain... but I had yesterday !!!

Nooooo, in this one it was very good that you didn“t crop the photo because the calm blue water makes a great contrast to the big waves. Also it would have been hard to determine the size of the waves if you cropped the image tightly. Just perfect, Michele!

Thanks Paul...Lake Havasu, or near the border of AZ. Ca. + Nv. would be cool , well it would be warm and fun too !
I know it must be rough when you don't have so much scenery to shoot, and I do realize I am very lucky to have so many rivers, lakes, mountains, etc. not to mention oceans and bays.... I appreciate this every day.
BTW we do have surfers but it wasn't a safe zone...tooo many Big logs... as in the previous image..

Come on over here Annemette the water is even warmer than usual and the weather is waay warmer than normal...!
I wasn't sure about leaving this image as is..... I mean some sort of odd-balence crop may have been a better choice but I left it exactly as it was... Is it sort of wierd with the waves dead center ?
